The ZIBAR–M is a military version of our ZIBAR race vehicle, built for the I.D.F ( the Israeli Defense Force) for rough terrain border patrol. I.D.F purchased a number of its prototypes to evaluate their performance as fast interception vehicles. The vehicles are now undergoing harsh durability tests by the army's ground forces.
Zibar-M ensures high mobility of a 5 soldiers crew for distances up to 500 km at a time, (without refueling) intended for short range reconnaissance patrols.

The vehicle is designed for mass production manufacturing, its space frame design enables to incase any kind of drive line component selection required by the client.
A variety of engines (diesel + gasoline), gear boxes, axles and differently adapted electrical systems can be fitted into the vehicle, in order to adapt the vehicle to our users every need.
Unique features:
The vehicle is built on very though and rigid tubular space frame that also serves as a roll cage and gives the crew a very good and solid protection against roll over accidents and crashes.
The frame combines live axles suspension and heavy duty Chrysler and GM driveline components.
All of the drive line components are integrated inside the space frame creating a flat "skid surface" at the bottom of the vehicle, enabling it to slide over large obstacles without damaging the drive line components.
The vehicle Enables easy off loading of soldiers in case of an attack.
The vehicle can be ordered with a military gun tarot (similar to the AMG Hummer) that allows the user to install any weapon system he needs in order to complete his mission.In addition the approach and departure angles of the vehicle are 90 degrees, this enables the vehicle to climb walls Up to 90 cm high.MIL STD – Electrical system that supplies 24v for communication is built in the vehicle. We have also designed unique antenna holders that are installed inside the vehicle's frame, which prevents them from ripping off the vehicle in dense vegetation areas.
Easy maintenance, the vehicle driveline is easily accessible, by removing only 3 body panels you can have access to all of the vehicle's driveline components for maintenance or replacement. |
